Dieckmann Seeds

DIECKMANN Seeds is a medium-sized breeding company based in Lower Saxony, Germany. Following the sale of its sugar beet seed operations in the Spring of 2008, DIECKMANN Seeds now specializes in the breeding of hybrid oilseed rape, hybrid rye and kombi-rye. The development of wheat and barley is also in process.

For generations, DIECKMANN Seeds has been breeding high performance varieties for cultivation in both Western and Eastern Europe. Its main target markets are Germany, Poland, Rumania, Russia and the Ukraine. DIECKMANN Seeds is also opening up new market segments for grain varieties that have been bred to contain specific features that give higher added value to agriculture. Amyl pectin rich waxy barley varieties for the milling and starch industry and light-grained rye for the baked-goods industry are setting ground-breaking standards.
